Install the Stock Charts Firefox Extension.

Isn’t it frustrating when you come across a list of ticker symbols that aren’t links? If you want to view the stock chart for the symbol, you have to do a lot of typing (and then correcting your typing mistakes!).

For example, how would you quickly view the stock charts of these symbols: FORD, MSFT, REDF, IVAC? Normally, you’d have to bring up a new tab in Firefox, go to your favorite stock charts web site, and go back and forth between tabs typing in the symbols.

Not any more. We’ve just put the finishing touches on an extension for the Firefox web browser. It lets you select one or more ticker symbols on a web page and open new tabs for them all in stocktickr, stockcharts.com, Yahoo! Finance, or Big Charts - all in one fell swoop without any typing. Is your favorite stock web site not on the list? That’s ok because you can easily add it to the list.

Good question. I think we’re at a point where we can take the covers off some of what we are doing. Stocktickr is an incredibly easy way for you to store and share your watchlists.
