Have you ever been stopped out by just a penny only to see it reverse?  That doesn’t feel good, does it?  It’s happened a few times to me.  Has it ever happened to you twice in one day in a single stock?  That happened to me today.  ;-(

The first time was bad luck but the second time was nobody’s fault by my own.  I moved my stop too soon, violating one of my rules.  I know from looking back at my StockTickr journal that moving my stop too soon is very damaging to my profits in the long run, but it still is tempting and I capitulated today.  Here is the chart:

I made a few bucks in DLLR today, but my position size was smaller than normal, so I actually ended up down on the day even though I made 1.3R on the day.  I hope everyone else’s day was better!
