You probably don't have a shaving plan.. Besides, you're not really shaving your hair, you can only shave your beliefs on how long your facial hair is.. Another possible reason for the bleeding is because either there's no real edge or it's not suitable for you, personally I like using a Doube-Edge. Although having said that, the platform doesn't make the shaver, it's just a tool. Some people spend lots of money trying to find the "best" platinum (coated) elite tools but eventually end up going back to the basics. My final advice is: focus on the process of shaving and hair removal will take care of itself.. :-) P.S. Happy birthday to Mike. LOL
